Bridging technology and humanity through learning and connection
Why "setu"?
I chose the name Setu, which means 'bridge' in Sanskrit, because it reflects my mission to bridge the gap between technology and humanity—connecting people through learning, dialogue, and inclusion.

My Mission to Bridge Technology and Humanity
Ever since I discovered how powerful technology can be in connecting people, I've wanted to use it to create equal opportunities for everyone. My goal is to apply data science to empower students and individuals of all abilities to learn, express, and connect through technology. I'm building an accessible platform where students can gain computer science education to bridge the digital divide and open new pathways to opportunity.
Through projects like a speech-to-text translator that helps people who stutter communicate more confidently, and a digital forum that turns socioeconomic debates into data-driven conversations, I strive to make technology not just a tool—but an equalizer. I want to create spaces that celebrate inclusion, amplify diverse perspectives, and inspire a generation to learn from both code and conversation.
